A friend

There is something I would like to tell about myself, a confession, if I may call it: I love reading!! In fact I am a “readaholic” if there is such a word!! And you see, the problem is everyone knows this!! Actually, some of them say that it’s obvious from my face, I like reading history books and stories, stories by D. Ahmed Khalid Tawfiq, Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen, Leo Tolstoy and others. However, since I am not writing about myself, let me introduce one of my best friend: D. Rrfaat Ismael.. as thin as a pencil, smokes as a factory chimney, as ugly as… well, I still can’t define that yet!! He is a former blood diseases professor in a number of Arab, USA and European universities in the world. Never married and suffers from this; has a very strange, yet interesting hobby: hunt ghosts, vampires, zombies and supernatural stuff!! According to him, he does not hunt them, they come after him which makes him very unfortunate, he is simply in the wrong place and at the wrong time always. He gets bored very quickly and believes that life have never been so repetitive as now!! Nothing can astonish him, even if he saw a dragon flying in Cairo’s sky, the only thing he will say: “since when did dragons stop flying on Cairo!!” tells stories that makes you amazed, and jokes that usually makes you upset, yet you can’t stop yourself from smiling. A fictional character written by D. Ahmed Khalid Tawfiq, D. Refaat is ironically an enjoyable person, even when he makes jokes on everything you thought it was valuable before. He is such a good friend.
